Carmel Football Club is a community-focused, competitive soccer club dedicated to providing year-round training and development for players of all ages. Led by former U.S. international player and coach, Juergen Sommer, the club benefits from his extensive experience both in the U.S. and England, offering players a high level of expertise and mentorship.
Carmel FC teams participate in local, regional, and state-level competitions, including the prestigious Indiana Youth Soccer state tournaments. Our players are guided by dedicated volunteer coaches, and we also provide specialized goalkeeper training to ensure all positions are well-developed. Teams train multiple times per week at our top-tier, soccer-specific facilities, and during the winter months, we take advantage of our state-of-the-art, full-sized indoor facility at Aletto to maintain training consistency and intensity.
Our club offers two main programs: Academy and Travel. The Academy program caters to younger players (ages 6-9), emphasizing foundational skills, teamwork, and a love for the game. The Travel program is for more advanced players (ages 10-19) and focuses on competitive play, tactical development, and preparing players for higher levels of competition. Both programs are designed to nurture players' growth at each stage of their development, ensuring they receive the guidance and opportunities necessary to reach their full potential.
At Carmel FC, we prioritize player development, teamwork, and a strong sense of community, providing a platform for players to grow, compete, and thrive in the sport of soccer.
