VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT/OUT-OUT FEE
The Carmel Dads’ Club is excited to be entering the 16th year of Jr. High golf in 2018. The Brookshire Golf Club is host to this year's golfing season and events. More information regarding the course can be found at www.brookshiregolf.com .
5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade boy/girl
Boys - Spring season runs 5 weeks April through May
Girls - Fall season runs August through October
Boys - Spring Sport Fee: $175
Girls - Fall Sport Fee: $175
Carmel Dads' club requires every family to pay $25 or work a two-hour shift in the concession stand for a sporting event. Athletes whose parents serve as a league commissioner, head coach or team sponsor are exempt from this requirement.
Registration for Boys Spring is open mid-January through late Feb.
Registration for Girls Fall is open early May through mid-August .
*Refund Policy – If you register your child(ren) for one of our sports programs and then opt for them not to participate, refund requests are grated AS LONG AS the refund request is made during that sport season’s regular open registration period. Refunds are NOT given if requested after open registration unless there is a medical reason you child cannot participate. For more information or if you have questions or concerns regarding this refund policy, please contact the office.
We will meet twice a week for practice/instruction. Practice will consist of golf on the executive course for about 90 minutes and instruction will consist of a combination of full swing and short game instruction with our PGA professionals.
In addition to that we will be scheduling matches versus other junior high schools in the area that will take place during the week throughout the season. Every time the players play a round of golf, their score will be recorded for purposes of determining who will play in the matches against other junior high schools.
All players are required to supply their own gear (clubs, shoes, tees, balls, ect.).
