Carmel FC is a community-driven, competitive soccer club committed to year-round player development. Led by former U.S. international and Premier League goalkeeper Juergen Sommer, our players benefit from elite coaching, specialized goalkeeper training, top-tier facilities, and a proven pathway to compete at the local, regional, and state levels. Through a culture of excellence and opportunity, we help every player reach their full potential.

Our club offers two main programs: Academy and Travel.

ACADEMY

The Academy program is led by Matt Blackbourne a coach of 30 years experience at the Elite Youth Level. The Academy caters to younger players (ages 6-9), emphasizing foundational skills, teamwork, and a love for the game.

TRAVEL

The Travel program is for more advanced players (ages 10-19) and focuses on competitive play, tactical development, and preparing players for higher levels of competition. Teams participate in both local competition with our most competitive teams participating in National USYSA competition.

Carmel FC has been accepted into U.S. Soccer's new N1 Competition

We are proud to announce that Carmel FC 2012/13 and 2013/14 Girls have been accepted into U.S. Soccer's new N1 Competition ! This is a significant milestone for our club and those teams in particular. Being selected for the N1 Competition provides our players with another outstanding platform to compete against regional top-level opposition while continuing to develop in an environment focused on long-term player growth. This achievement isn't just about where we play—it's about continuing to raise the standards at Carmel FC and providing a proven pathway for our players into High School. Allowing our athletes to reach their true potential. Big thanks to our Coaches (Matt Mahar / Tracey Blackmore & Emily Ruden / Jim Ruden for the hard work and dedication to their teams.
