We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality sports programs to the youth of Carmel and Clay Townships. Our goals have remained consistent for over 50 years -- We strive to offer a supportive atmosphere where young athletes have fun while gaining self-confidence and learning the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership.

The many programs offered through the CDC range from football to basketball, soccer to baseball, lacrosse to volleyball and more!  We offer programs for a variety of age levels from PreK to High School. We welcome all skill levels from the beginner player to the competitive travel team athlete.

Our programs are supported through invaluable volunteers who give their time and care to each individual program.  Volunteers consists of coaches, commissioners, concession workers and more; all of whom provide important services to the Carmel Dads’ Club.  The CDC could not be the organization it is today without all the individuals and families who give their time, knowledge and support to it.

As our spring sports season comes to end I wanted to congratulate all of our participants and coaches on a tremendous season!  Over the past few weekends I was able to get out and see much of the exciting action, and was impressed by the play and the enjoyment I saw the kids having.  I also wanted to take this opportunity and than our many commissioners and coaches for all the time they spent making this a fun season for our kids.  It is amazing to me the time preparation these individuals put into making this a special experience for the kids in all our CDC programming.

Concussion Seminar
Please plan on attending the upcoming Concussion Seminar on Monday, July 18th at Carmel High School Freshman Center at 6:00 pm. This seminar will include a great deal of information about all areas of concussions led by Dr. Terry Horner, one of the top Neurological physicians in the country and serves as neurosurgical consultant to the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University. Please remember this seminar is open to all participants of the Carmel Dads' Club. Coaches, parents, and athletes are all strongly encouraged to attend.

Special Thank You to Clay Township
CDC was recently able to purchase new football equipment (200 new helmets and 270 pairs of shoulder pads) due to the help of Clay Township and their grant program. CDC is very appreciative of this generous offer and Clay Township's understanding of how important youth sports are in the lives of local residents. We wanted to thank Clay Township and Board Members Paul Bolin, Mary Eckard, and Matt Snyder along with Trustee, Doug Callahan, for the $30,000 grant they gave to CDC to help make this equipment purchase possible. Thank you again Clay Township for your continued support of Carmel Dads' Club and the nearly 12,000 participants in our programs. We appreciate all you do!!!

Indy Eleven / CDC Soccer Camp
Carmel Dads' Club hosted the 3rd annual Indy Eleven/CDC Soccer Camp. The camp was attended by 275 kids and was a great success! Special thanks to the Indy Eleven players and coaches for their hard work in making the camp a great experience for the kids! Good luck to the coaches and players as they continue their tremendous season! Don't miss this great camp opportunity next year.

Carmel High School Football Coaches Clinic
Carmel High School Football Coach, John Hebert, and his staff will be holding their annual Coaches Clinic for all CDC Football coaches and parents Saturday, July 16th at 8:30 am. The clinic will be held inside the home side locker rooms at the Football Stadium. The clinic will cover equipment fitting, practice planning, and proper tackling and blocking techniques.

AED Training
CDC offered free AED training in June through our partnerships with Cardiac Science and Heart Reach Carmel. Nearly 40 people attended the 2nd annual event. Special thanks to Troy Pflugner (Cardiac Science) and Pierre Twer (Heart Reach Carmel) for the very informative seminar. Please plan on attending this very educational meeting in the future.

CarmelFest Parade

Carmel FC and the CDC Pups Cheerleaders represented the CDC in fine fashion at the annual CarmelFest Parade. A great time was had by all!! Thanks to all coaches, parents, and kids who participated in this year's parade.

Upcoming Tryouts

Don't forget tryouts will be held July 23rd for Pups/Hounds Baseball and August 1st for Pups Softball. Both programs had great seasons and we will look for huge numbers trying out this year. Please contact Commissioner David Cutsinger regarding baseball try-outs or Erika Petruzzi regarding softball tryouts.
