Our girls programs are divided into 2 leagues:  3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade.  The number of players on the field are different and the rules are slightly different.  The main emphasis for both levels is on skill development, physical fitness, team-work, having fun and sportsmanship.

All teams will play games and practices at CLAYBOURNE Fields (136th/Shelbourne - west side of the street).

3rd-5th Grade Teams will play with 7 players on the field on a half-sized field.  We will have specific rules to ensure team play and we will gradually introduce the goalie position.  Most, if not all, games will be played on Sunday afternoons.

6th-8th Grade Teams will play full field with 12 players (includes a goalie).  Goalie equipment will be provided and given to each coach.  Practice days are Mondays &/or Wednesdays and the times are up to the coach.  1 practice per week is suggested.   Games are generally on Sunday afternoons, but we may have some Saturday games and some games during the week.  There is a post-season tournament, details on this will be announced later. Practices will begin whenever the fields are deemed playable.  Projected date is Monday March 29th.  Games will be concluded by June 6th.  Mother's Day is always "GAME ON".

PRACTICES:  For both Middle School and Youth leagues, we can only practice on our game fields on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Some of our boys teams will be practicing on our fields on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Times for your team's practices will depend on your coach's availability.  FRIDAY night COMMISSIONER'S hours are offered for certain Friday nights.  This is an open practice for any child who either missed their team practice, or simply wants more practice.  Fundamentals will be presented and drilled in the Friday night sessions.  Times and dates will be posted later.

Games will begin the 1st weekend after Spring break (Carmel Spring Break is April 3-April 11).

Picture day TBD.

Our League Mission: "CDC Lacrosse is focused on providing an instructional program that matriculates the lacrosse skills of each participant, while emphasizing fun, fair play, and good sportsmanship. Our hope is that we can be a positive influence for each player, and translate these experiences into positive attributes that resonate in their character in the future."

Thank you to all commissioners, coaches, and parents who got involved this year and let's make 2010 a great success!
Have a great season and please keep our mission in mind.
