2008 Fall Girls Golf will begin the week of August 11th. There will be
an informational meeting at Bridgewater for players and parents prior
to the season starting. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 pm. More information will follow from Bridgewater shortly. 5/8/2008-Golf is canceled for tonight Thursday May 8, 2008. It will be rescheduled for Tuesday, May 13,2008 at 4 pm. 2008 Spring Golf - Boys 6th - 8th grade Parents/Introduction Meeting - on Monday March 10th at the Bridgewater Country Club north banquet room - 6:00 pm Space is limited - one parent only should attend. Practices will be Tues and Thurs from 4:00 - 5:30 pm Golfers will need their own equipment (clubs, tees, shoes etc.) Matches will be played weeknights - 4:00 - 5:30 pm No practice during spring break (week of April 7th) Tentatively scheduled to end May 8, 2008 The Carmel Dads’ Club is excited to be entering the sixth year of Jr. High golf in 2008. Those of you who have participated in the program in years past may know what to expect, but if you have not participated before, this is a summary of how the program will be run. Registration is currently open to any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy in Carmel who wishes to participate. The fee for the program is $140. We will meet twice a week for practice/instruction. Practice will consist of golf on the executive course for about 90 minutes and instruction will consist of a combination of full swing and short game instruction with our PGA professionals. In addition to that we will be scheduling matches versus other junior high schools in the area that will take place during the week throughout the season. Every time the players play a round of golf, their score will be recorded for purposes of determining who will play in the matches against other junior high schools.
