7th/8th Fall League

The tournament is blind draw.

The schedule for 7th/8th fall league and also the 7th-12th grade CDC baseball rules are attached at the bottom of this page.

Bat restrictions will be the same as Spring 7th-12th grade league and are high school/middle school restrictions. Any bat with greater than 2 1/4" barrel cannot have a weight differential greater than minus 3 (-3).

2009 Fall Baseball General Information

Fall baseball is available for 3rd grade through 8th grade. The information below is divided into 3rd thru 6th grade leagues and 7th & 8th grade league.

7th & 8th Grade Fall Baseball

Here is the general information regarding 7th/8th grade fall baseball:

1. We will have 8 teams at this grade level. We will follow the 7th-12th grade CDC baseball rules with limited exceptions.

2. The league will be Sunday afternoons only except for the last week which will be Saturday and Sunday to complete a tournament.

3. Sunday August 16 will be the only practice for all teams.

4. Games will be played at O'Malia, Shirley and CHS Freshman fields. The early game will start at approximately 1:30. Games are 7 innings or 2 hours. Each week 2 teams will play a doubleheader.

5. Practices will be August 16. Games start August 23th. The other Sundays that will be played are 8/23, 8/30, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4 and 10/11. Tournament will be 10/17 and 10/18. We will not play on 9/6.

6. Each team will have an 8 game schedule, and there will likely be no make-up games.

7. There will be a single-elimination tournament at the end of the season.
