ASSISTANT GENERAL COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCEMENT

 

I am pleased to announce the Mark Higdon has been selected to serve as our Assistant General Commissioner for 3rd thru 6th Grade Baseball for 2010.  Please join me in welcoming Mark to his new position.  In addition, Mark will continue to serve as the 6th Grade League Commissioner.  Mark can be reached at Higdon67@hotmail.com.

2010 3RD THRU 6TH GRADE REC BASEBALL GENERAL SCHEDULE

 

All of our coaches meetings will take place in the upstairs meeting room at Wodock Ballpark.  Here is the schedule for the coaches meetings

 
Sunday, March 21:
 
  3rd Grade – 5:00 pm
  4th Grade – 6:00 pm
  5th Grade – 7:00 pm
  6th Grade – 8:00 pm

                                               

 Field work days            Wodock and Gray Road – Saturday, March 20 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

                                        

Deadline for coaches to notify players of team placement – Monday, March 29 at 5:00 pm

 

Practice starts the week of Monday, April 12  (One practice per until Memorial Day)

 

Game Schedule:
 
Game 1  -             Saturday, April 24
Game 2 -              Saturday, May 1
Game 3 -              Saturday, May 8  (Picture Day)
Game 4 -              Saturday, May 15
Game 5 -              Saturday, May 22
Game 6 -              Week of June 1 (no games Memorial Day)
Game 7 -              Saturday, June 5
Game 8 -              Week of June 7
Game 9 -              Saturday, June 12
Game 10 -           Week of June 14
Playoffs -             For those leagues with a playoff, they will start on Saturday, June 19 and be complete by Friday, June 25     
 
RESULTS OF 3rd GRADE REC PLUS SUPPLEMENTAL TRYOUTS
 
Thank you to all who tried out at the 3rd Grade Rec Plus Supplemental Tryout.  Listed below are the players who made a team.  These players will be contacted directly by their coach regarding team placement.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact our 3rd Grade Rec Plus Coordinator, Chad Lindley at clindley@GDIConstruction.com.

If you have not registered for Dads Club baseball yet, you need to do so right away.  The fee is $105.00.  In addition, we will waive the late fee of $25.00 for these players.  You also need to pay the Rec Plus fee of $245.00.  Please deliver this check to Krista Grubb at the Dads Club office and note on the check that it is for 3rd Grade Rec Plus baseball.
